"A place to remember"
If you'd prefer a more permanent memorial in a loved ones name, you may want to dedicate a leaf on our Memory Tree.
Leaving St. Luke’s Hospice a gift in your Will is one of the most valuable and lasting ways you can support us. It costs nothing during your lifetime but will have a powerful impact for years to come.
Leaves can be dedicated to express thanks, as a gift, to show support to the hospice, in memory of a loved one or simply with your own name or personal message.
Every leaf delivers care
We offer three types of leaves and ask for a minimum contribution for each leaf. Every leaf engraved will not only be creating a unique personal tribute, it will also help St. Luke's Hospice continue to provide specialist palliative and end of life care for local people facing life-limiting illnesses and their families, year after year.
Leaf dedication options:
|Bronze Colour Leaf||Silver Colour Leaf||Gold Colour Leaf|
|One off minimum suggested donation of £60 or £5 per month||One off minimum suggested donation of £120 or £10 per month||One off minimum suggested donation of £240 or £20 per month|
|£60 could sponsor a professional to provide qualified and specialist support to patients & families in need, whether it is a Nurse, Social Worker or Counsellor.||£120 could sponsor a Nurse and will help us with our on-going high quality specialist palliative care which is tailored to the needs of each individual patient, helping them ‘live’ until they die.||£240 could pay for a patient to attend the Day Hospice which provides medical support/advice, stimulation and enjoyment through a variety of activities and helps alleviate social isolation.|
How does it work?
Upon receipt of your order, we will produce an e-certificate to confirm the spelling of your inscription. You can make amendments to your message within 7 days, after which we will arrange for your personalised leaf to be engraved and added to the Memory Tree.
Once your leaf has been fixed to the tree, we will invite you to visit the hospice and see it in situ. The tree will be fully accessible for you, your friends and family to visit any time you like to see your leaf.
Your leaf will remain on the Memory Tree at St. Luke’s Hospice for one year, after which you may decide to make a further donation to allow the leaf to remain on the tree for another year, or ask for the leaf to be returned in a presentation box for you to keep.
